Happy and relieved, that is how Eleanor Mackey is feeling after picking up her A level results at SRC Bede Sixth Form today. The 18-year-old from Ingleby Barwick achieved an A* in Biology, an A* in Psychology and a B in Chemistry.
The grades have secured her a place to study Neuroscience at King’s College London.
“It was just amazing seeing the A*s,” said the former All Saints Academy student.
“It was a shock because I wasn’t really expecting them, I did better than I thought.”
Hoping to go on to work in research, Eleanor said she has enjoyed her time at SRC Bede.
“I would definitely recommend it, everyone’s really friendly here and it got me the grades I needed.”
