dreams-come-to-lifeBudding make-up artists of future stage and screen put their skills to the ultimate test in a spectacular showcase of their work.

Creative students let their imaginations run wild in the stunning exhibition at Stockton Riverside College.

Breathing life into their art work, the Production Arts (Make-up for Media and Performance) students, used live models to illustrate skills and techniques developed on the course.

“The quality of the work is just amazing,” said course leader Nina Harper. “I think that we have some real future stars of the make-up world.”

Titled Dreams Illusion of Imagination, the show offered the group of 11 students the chance to explore their own interpretation of dreams to create a live installation.

Using a variety of techniques developed over the last two years, such as make-up, prosthetics and special effects, the students created a range of standout looks with individual themes including everything from Freedom to Technophobia, Psychedelic to Pastel Waves.

Course leader Nina said: “The exhibition demonstrated how hard the students have worked. Visitors and guests were blown away by the creative techniques used on the live models. The students have been so dedicated, I am really proud of them all.”
