It was double success this morning at SRC Bede Sixth Form for two former Northfield School students who both received the grades they were hoping for.

Jack Robinson and Edward Wilkinson both 18 of Ingleby Barwick were delighted with their results which sees them get into their chosen universities.

Edward who received B,C,C in psychology, geography and history said: “I’ve been so nervous the past few days, I have hardly slept. I’m just so happy.”

Jack who received a C,C,D in Business, History and Sociology added: “I’m so happy that I have passed, I can’t wait to start Uni in September.”

Edward will continue his studies at the University of Sunderland studying law where he hopes to train to be a lawyer.

Jack is staying in Teesside and is heading off to Teesside University to study history with the hopes of becoming a history teacher.
