It’s proving a big week for Keelan Forrester who picked up top A level grades just days before his 18th birthday.

Securing his place at Teesside University to study English, he and his family are delighted.

“It was a bit nerve wracking last night,” he said. “But I am glad I have my results now.”

Keelan achieved an A* is English Language, an A in Psychology and a B in Classics.

Of his time at SRC Bede Sixth Form he said: “I have enjoyed my time here, I have worked hard and now feel ready to take the next step.”

Recommending the college to others he said: “The teachers are really nice and I have made so many friends.”
