
She says it was studying Health and Social Care at Stockton Riverside College that set her on the route to her future career.
Taking part in a whole host of work placements, she said: "It has helped to make me more confident."
Picking up her Level 3 qualification this week, Corin now plans to move on to the Level 4 Certificate in Health and Social Care.
She said: "When I started this course I had an idea that I wanted to work in care but had no idea what the setting would be. I knew I wanted to do something helping children and families but it was while on the course that I decided I wanted to be a social worker."
Looking back at her time at the college, she said: "The college is a nice environment and the teachers are really approachable and friendly."
And the best bit, she says, is definitely the friendships she has made.
