Well done to SRC Bede Sixth Form student Clare Wells on a first class set of A level results.

She picked up A* grades in psychology and English literature and an A in biology.

Now off to Durham University to study biomedical science, Clare is delighted, as is her dad Rick, who is also Director at the college.

“I was shocked but really happy when I got my results,” said Clare. “I always come out of exams thinking that didn’t go well.

“To get these results is great and a relief after a long summer of waiting.”

Choosing the college after being impressed by all SRC Bede had to offer during a taster day, she said: “I would definitely recommend it to other people. It has a very friendly atmosphere and the lessons are always fun and informative.”
