Chris Andrews is absolutely over the moon with his A level results this morning, receiving 3 A* grades in his chosen subjects biology, chemistry and maths.

He’s now excited to head to Newcastle University to study medicine and fulfil his dream of becoming a doctor and he of course couldn’t believe just how well he’d done.

“I’m in shock; it still hasn’t actually sunk in,” Chris said. “I didn’t really know what to expect but I’m very, very happy.”

Chris had a lot of great things to say about his time at SRC Bede, but he says the best thing has been the huge amount of support he’s had from his teachers on all of his courses, and he attributes a lot of his success to them and all the help they’ve given him.
