Here at Stockton Riverside College we are celebrating receiving the Teaching Excellence Framework’s silver seal of approval.
The new assessment highlights standards of teaching and learning in higher education across universities and colleges.
A review of the college’s HE provision metrics and submission saw Stockton Riverside College receive the TEF’s prestigious silver rating.
The framework was introduced by the Government to gather evidence about the performance of the UK’s higher education sector.
A total of 295 universities, colleges and other higher education providers volunteered to take part, with each rated gold, silver or bronze, or a provisional award for those where there wasn’t enough data for a full assessment.
