Rocker Craig Carter hit all the right notes as he put on a special performance for fellow students at Stockton Riverside College.
The 29-year-old was catapulted into the spotlight at the weekend after wowing coaches on The Voice UK.

Now as he prepares for the “Battles” round of the contest, Carter took the time to share his experiences of the show so far.
“It’s been surreal but I am learning from it all,” said the former labourer from Billingham.
Appreciating all the messages of support he has been given since the programme aired on Saturday night, he said: “It’s great to have the chance to share what I am learning with other students.”

Plus the FdA Performing Arts student always enjoys an excuse to blast out some of his favourite tunes.
Describing music as the thing that inspires him most in his life, he said: “If I hear something I like it makes me want to play, sing and make my own music.”
And despite his rock singer persona, when it comes to his own musical tastes, Carter is pretty diverse.
“That was part of the reason why I chose to be coached by Gavin Rossdale on the show,” he said.
“I thought he would be the best option for me, obviously because of the rock background, but also because he agreed that I could be more diverse.”
Carter left celebrity coaches Gavin Rossdale, Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones all vying for his attention, after turning their chairs during his performance of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” during blind auditions on the TV talent show.
Choosing to work with Gavin, he will now move on to the next round of the contest which will see him go head to head with a fellow member of Team Gavin.
