With an A* in maths, an A in physics and a B in further maths, James dreams of a career with NASA.

The 18-year-old hopes to start his career as a chartered C&I engineer by studying instrumentation and control engineering at Teesside University and then progress on to working with the space giants.

When asked how he felt when he opened the little brown envelope he said: "I felt delighted, it took a minute to sink in but overall I was absolutely delighted".
