Amirah Ehleha has secured the results she needed to get into her first choice university.

The 18-year-old studied, Film, English Literature and English Language and received B, B, A.

Speaking about how she felt, she said: “I am so happy that I got into my first choice university. I was really nervous this morning.”

Amirah, from Billingham, said she has loved her time at the College: “I have enjoyed meeting new people, it feels like a family here.”

She continued: “The teachers are also really cool!”

Amirah is now off to the University of Surrey to major in English Literature, and minor in Film. She hopes to go on to become a writer of novels or scripts.
