Sarah McCarthy was full of smiles this morning when she came in to SRC Bede Sixth Form to collect her A level results. The 18 year old from Ingleby Barwick received an A* in Art and a C in Business Studies.

Sarah said: “I was so excited but very nervous. I didn’t think it was possible for me to get an A*”

Sarah plans on continuing her studies at Sheffield Hallam studying animation.

When asked about her time here at SRC Bede Sixth Form Sarah added: “I have really enjoyed my time here, I have met some really good friends who I will miss a lot but I know I will stay in touch with them.”
