A bright future lays ahead for budding TV and Film student Alex Clinton.

The 19-year-old has already had a taste of the limelight when his film ‘I Moustache You a Question’ was chosen to be featured on the BBC three fresh website.

Today he added to that success by gaining Distinction star, Distinction star, Distinction, in Film and Television.

“I never thought I would ever have the opportunity to study this and achieve what I have achieved,” he said.

Alex, who volunteered at Ignition radio in Stockton alongside his studies, is now off to Salford University in September to study a degree in Television and Radio.

“I am excited at the new opportunities university holds and I am looking forward to learning new things,” he said.

When asked about his time at Stockton Riverside College he said: “The tutors are really friendly which is something that attracted me to the college.”

Looking forward, Alex hopes to pursue a career in radio and has a keen interest in presenting.
