Access to higher education health students have been helping to deliver healthy lifestyle messages to their fellow learners at Stockton Riverside College.
The group were challenged to set up promotional stands, focusing on different aspects of health and wellbeing.
Covering topics such as quitting smoking, the dangers of drink driving, safe sex and breast cancer care, the students carried out detailed research into their chosen subject.
A marketplace-style event saw them then share the information that they have learned.
"The students had to put the activity together from start to finish," said programme area leader for Access to Higher Education, Andrea Harrison.
"The results have been amazing. The learners put together some fantastic resources and were able to offer a really good and informative service."
Part of a group delivering the anti smoking message, one Access to higher education health student, Claire, said: "We visited the University Hospital of North Tees to gather as much information as we could as well as doing further research.
"It was a bit daunting at first delivering what we have learned to other students, but the event was really nice."
