Celebrations have begun at SRC Bede Sixth Form as A level results day gets underway.

Among those celebrating is Jonathan Tait.

The 18-year-old from Billingham has loved his time at the College and now has three A levels to show for it.

The former St Michael’s Catholic Academy student has achieved a grade A in English Literature, an A in English Language and an A * in History.

Now off to study English Literature at the University of York he said: “I am so relieved, it’s a mixture of emotions, relief and happiness but also the thought of ‘oh my goodness, I’m going away to university’.”
