Budding artist Grace James has just opened her A level results to reveal her best possible grades – an A in photography, an A in English literature, and an A* in art!

With these grades Grace is looking forward to getting stuck in to her foundation year in art at CCAD, after which she hopes to head to Glasgow University to study fine art.

Speaking about her favourite part of studying here at SRC Bede, Grace said: “The best thing about SRC Bede for me is absolutely the art department. It’s got me to where I want to be and I wouldn’t have done it without the support and help from my teachers. I’ve made so many friends here and everyone has done so well.”

Although she was pretty shell-shocked at her success, we did manage to get one word from Grace to describe her reaction to her results: Happy!
