AS student Elish Chambers has every reason to be celebrating this morning after getting 4 As in Maths, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

The former St Michael’s student said: “I am really happy with my results. It was such a relief after worrying all year.”

The 17-year-old from Billingham chose SRC Bede Sixth Form after visiting the college and realised it was the one for her. She said: “I really liked the feel of it, it’s small and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.”

After finishing her A levels next year Elish hopes to study Medicine at Lancaster University.
