Next stop is Newcastle University for our former Student Association President Wilson after picking up his A level results today.

The 18-year-old from Billingham achieved grades A, B, B in Maths, Physics and Chemistry at Bede Sixth Form.

He said: “I was feeling quite confident but you are still unsure what you are going to get.”

Happy to get the grades he needed, he is now off to study civil and structural engineering at university and is looking forward to the new challenges ahead.
Wilson put himself forward as Student Association President last year to get the experience and learn more about the wider College Group.

He said: “I didn’t mind stepping up and I was happy to do it.”
