Our Redcar Prince’s Trust Team Programme started this week with a fresh new batch of students, and over the next 12 weeks we will be following them on their journey.

The Redcar & Cleveland College based team have been learning the importance of team building this week and how it’s going to help them over the next 3 months.

On our visit today the group were doing a variety of different team building activities, including an all about you task and a communication challenge.

In their first task, students had to get a tennis ball from one end of a tarpaulin sheet to the other by following arrows without letting it fall through the holes. This proved a bit difficult but once they worked together they got the hang of it.

Students then played an all about you game where they would roll a dice to determine the place they would land on the board, each square had a question to ask about the other person which helped students get to know each other before working together on their residential trip, community project, presentations and much more!

Keep an eye out for next week’s blog where we will be telling you all about the team’s residential trip.

It’s not too late to join one our Prince’s Trust Teams. Call us now on 01642 865 548, or email Gillian.hutchinson@stockton.ac.uk for more information.
