Abbie was so nervous that she didn't sleep last night! But the nerves all fell away as she opened her envelope and found that she’d bagged B’s in both English Literature and Biology, and a C in Chemistry.

Now that she’s got the grades she needed, this autumn she’ll be heading off to Northumbria University to start her training in midwifery.

Already sporting a hoody from Northumbria University, the former Ian Ramsey Academy student said that her time at SRC Bede has been “really enjoyable, and I’ve felt comfortable here. I’m glad I chose the subjects I did – they were tricky at times, but my teachers were all really nice and supportive, and helped me get here.”
