Geography students were given the chance to put lessons learnt in the classroom into practice during a residential field trip to Keswick this week.
All of the data collection methods had been designed by the students in the lead up to the visit.
Andrew said: “Our students also completed a hydrology study, during which students measured the flow, width and depth of the River Greta, as well as assessing the area for the risk of flooding.”
The students’ coursework will make up 20% of their course. Andrew said: “A good time was had by all!”
