Welfare and Safeguarding

Stockton Riverside College is committed to safeguarding you and promoting your wellbeing to allow you to focus on your studies.

Safeguarding

Ensuring the College environment is safe means we manage the risks to our students and safeguarding underpins the College’s values. We make sure all staff are aware of their safeguarding responsibility and appropriate action is taken to protect you from harm, abuse or neglect.

We have dedicated Safeguarding and Welfare Officers who work across sites and liaise with the Local Safeguarding and Children’s Board and other agencies to ensure you stay safe.

Welfare

The specialist team is here to support you to stay safe and well, we are located at all of our sites meaning we are there for you!
We offer initial guidance and support on a variety of matters and then can signpost you to a more specialist service if needed. Your wellbeing is important and the team will discuss any concerns which you may have about your personal circumstances.
