What is Enrichment?
College life is about more than your studies. Here at Stockton Riverside College we offer the chance to take part in a variety of events, activities and clubs. This is a great way to try something new, develop your skills and build friendships.
We want to give our students the chance to develop additional skills that will help in their future career. Our enterprise programme is a great way to be innovative, think creatively and develop risk assessment and problem solving abilities – all skills that are highly valued by employers.
Events and Fundraising
The College holds a number of annual festivals to celebrate diversity, wellbeing and life skills. We also enjoy doing our bit to support others by organising a variety of fundraisers and charity events. All of these activities offer a great chance to learn more about the community and build a greater knowledge and understanding of others.
Skills and Development
We are committed to ensuring all of our students are equipped with adequate personal, social and employability skills to support their future progression, career aims and to improve their life choices. The College holds regular workshops and sessions delivered by professional services offering students the chance to learn how to keep themselves safe and healthy, both physically and emotionally and also to be active citizens.
V @ SRC is a scheme which all students can get involved in. The group meets regularly to volunteer for local projects either doing manual work, sharing views or caring for others. Volunteering looks good on your CV too!
