Introduction

We believe there is nothing more important than taking responsibility for a child’s wellbeing. Whether working as a teacher, nursery nurse or in the care industry, it is vital you can offer a service that is caring, supportive, fun and stimulating. Our courses will show you how to develop all of these skills and apply them at work.

What will I learn

You will develop the skills needed to work with babies, young children and clients in health and social care settings. Covering subjects including development, safeguarding, health and safety and organising activities. The qualification is delivered through a range of both taught and practical sessions, enabling learners to obtain the skills required to work with young children. Alongside this qualification, learners will attend functional skills or GCSE Maths and English to support their further development in these areas.
