Introduction

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualifications at Advanced Level offer the perfect platform to further develop your HR specialist knowledge after studying a CIPD Intermediate level qualification. The Advanced Level Certificate in Human Resource Management will give you a broader perspective of the organisational issues facing HR professionals and enable you to develop effective analytical and problem solving skills.

What will I learn

Modules include: • Human Resource Management in Context • Leading, Managing and Developing People • Developing Skills for Business Leadership • Investigating a Business Issue from a Human Resource Perspective

Your learning will take place through a range of methods including exams, classroombased lectures, and workshop activities.

You can move on to the MA in Human Resource Management or MSc in Human Resource Management.

Additional Information

New CIPD qualifications are being introduced in 2021. Each qualification is based on the new Profession Map , which taps into the cumulative insight of 19,000 experts. These insights combine with real-life scenarios, preparing students to make a real impact in the workplace. We are planning to offer these from September (pending CIPD approval). At this stage we are taking expressions of interest. More information will be available once approval is confirmed.
