We all want to look out best and as a hair stylist or barber you can help people to do just that. Our hairdressing courses will give you the skills you need to get started. Add to that your own passion and ambition and you could go on to work as a mobile hair stylist, run your own business or work in a salon.
What will I learn
You will learn skills including styling, blow drying, setting, colouring and cutting hair with techniques becoming more advanced as you progress. You will also learn about health and safety, customer service and reception and we will help you build the confidence to offer client consultations.
How will I learn
Lessons include a combination of practical demonstrations, practice, theory and e-learning. You are continually assessed throughout the course by building your e-portfolio of work, which contains your evidence of your competence in each of the technical and related skills.
