Introduction

This creative course provides a fantastic opportunity to learn how to create computer games in one of the fastest developing creative industries in the world. You will gain a solid foundation of the creative processes involved in character design, motion capture, app game development, retro gaming, conceptual art and visual design aspects of computer games required to convert a game concept into reality.

What will I learn

This practical course covers a range of exciting units. We carry out all the: preproduction, production and post-production elements of the games and animation industry. Our projects focus on a variety of disciplines: games design, character animations, games engines, 3D modelling, 3D environments and much more. The course offers great opportunities to be a part of live and industry standard briefs. Past examples include the Virtual Reality game created as an educational tool for the English department. This course will teach you the skills, techniques and creativity needed to be apart of producing games and animations. This course can be worth the equivalent of 3 A* at A
