This course is ideal for those who are looking to brush up their skills in English and/or maths and do not want to work towards a formal qualification. It will also suit those who are required to develop their skills in order to progress onto an alternative English and/or maths related programme; allowing learners to improve their skills and confidence at a level appropriate to their needs and ability, without the pressure of an exam.

On enrolment learners will receive an induction and complete a skills assessment, which will identify the level they are working at, the areas they are confident with and the areas that require further development.
