Introduction

The T-Level qualification is an exciting brand new two-year full-time course which has been designed in partnership with businesses and employers that is aimed to give you the knowledge and skills to support you move into a career in software production and design.

What will I learn

During the 2-year programme, you will develop the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of software production and design occupations. You will gain an understanding of software production and design including: web development, web design, software development, computer game testing, computer game development, e-learning development and user experience (UX) design. You will also undertake a high quality, structured and outcomes-focused industry placement, this is an integral part of the new T-Level programme. The industry placement will be aligned to your career aspirations identified in your career plan. This will equate to a minimum of 9 weeks. The industry placements will support you to develop a breadth of new skills to provide you with a valuable opportunity to progress towards your career goals.

How will I learn

This course combines classroom education and practical work-based experience with a mandatory industry work placement.
