Art Workshops

The art space at Stockton Riverside College is tailored towards creativity and learning. With the support of our expert tutors students make use of the supportive environment to help their development in the creative arts.


Want to know what it takes to work in aviation? Our courses offer training at the very forefront of this ever evolving sector. Trained as close to industry standards as possible, using real equipment, it’s no surprise our students have an amazing record for success.

Beauty Therapy Rooms

Brickwork Workshops

We want to give our students the best possible start on their route to their future career, for our Bricklaying students that means learning their trade in our purpose-built workshop. Hands-on experience along with guidance from our experienced tutors enables our students to build all the skills of the profession in our dedicated training environment.

Dance Studio

Home to our performing arts students, the SRC Dance Studio offers the ideal space for putting together routines and show rehearsals. The Pauline Quirke Academy also uses the facilities on a Saturday morning as part of their Tees Valley company.

Electrical Installation Workshops

You’ll find the electrical studio situated in our dedicated trade skills centre. The area is specifically designed to give students a working knowledge of their chosen field and offers the chance to enhance their skills in a supportive environment.


Our working salon can be found in SRC two at our Teesdale campus. It offers students the chance to learn from the best and get real experience. The salon is open to the public and offers great deals throughout the year.

Higher Education Centre

Our Higher Education students have an exclusive area for teaching and study at our Teesdale campus. Overlooking the Oasis bistro, this is an area where students can work and socialise in a space dedicated to their needs.

Infinity Kitchen

The Infinity Kitchen is the starting place for many of the region’s finest chefs. Under expert supervision, our trainee catering team work throughout the day creating great food, developing adventurous menus and gaining the necessary experience of a working kitchen.

I.T Classroom

Developing sharp I.T. skills is essential in modern life. Our I.T. classrooms are geared up to enhance our students’ learning and help them get the most from their course. With great support and top facilities we can help you develop your knowledge.

Margaret Armstrong Theatre

The Margaret Armstrong Theatre is the home of the Teesdale Campus’ Performing Arts productions. In previous years accomplished performers have played to packed out audiences, in shows such as ‘Guys and Dolls’ and ‘Annie’. Former SRC alumni are now treading the boards on some of the biggest stages in the country.

Painting and Decorating Workshop

With a variety of rooms, walls and displays, the painting and decorating team make sure students are fully prepared for the working world. The thorough learning programme gives students the chance to gain work-based practice and hone their skills while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

General Spaces


The beautiful reception at our Teesdale Campus is the hub of student life. With access to Information and Guidance our Oasis bistro, and the Street, the reception is a welcoming environment for all students and visitors to the College.

SRC 2 Ground Floor

The ground floor of SRC two at our Teesdale campus is a social hub. With regular displays from the art and design team, a Costa Coffee at the Waterside Café and the Salon, the area is regularly bursting with life.

Learning Resource Centre

Our state-of-the-art Learning Resource Centre (LRC) offers students the chance to carry out group and individual study. The LRC team have their own Twitter feed, follow the team at @SRCLRC

Oasis Bistro

Do you like top-quality food? Like an open, vibrant environment? Get yourself down to the Oasis café in SRC One. The bistro is run by the catering team and runs regular services throughout the day.

Infinity Restaurant

Our Infinity Restaurant, situated at the heart of our Teesdale campus, offers the perfect place to wine and dine. A fantastic menu prepared by our trainee chefs aims to give you a first class culinary experience. Riverside Café

The Riverside Café is the popular choice for students on campus. With a host of daily specials and British classics, the café throngs with students throughout lunch. Specials include lunchtime favourites such as pizza, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and wraps.
