- Fact 1: The performance contained a huge amount of physical theatre in it's re-telling.
- Fact 2: The play was written by Oscar nominated play write Patrick Marber.
- Fact 3: The final piece was not only performed but produced by our year 2 Actors.

- Fact 2: Once the actors took to the stage, they never leave for the duration of the performance.
- Fact 3: The script was originally written for the National Theatre as a new piece of writing for young performers.

- Fact 1: Although written as a stage play we presented it as a film due to covid restrictions.
- Fact 2: This performance was our entry into the National theatre connections competition.
- Fact 3: The final filmed piece was presented on the York theatre Royal website via YouTube.
A Christmas Carol
Location: Preston park Museum and Grounds, Sedgefield, The college film studio
When: November - December 2019
Cast: Creative Media Production students and students from Performing Arts, Acting for the Stage and Screen
Fun facts:
- Fact 1: To make 90 minutes of film, we shot over 7 hours of footage
- Fact 2: We had a cast and crew of 70 students working on the film. Each one with a different role
- Fact 3: We used 48 Victorian costumes all sourced by our student team and researched for accuracy
Annie
Location: ARC Theatre, Stockton Riverside College
When: December 6th - 19th 2019
Cast: The cast was made up of our Performing Arts students aged 16, and also consisted of local primary and secondary school children from across the Tees Valley. Some of them were just 6 years old at the time!
Fun facts:
- Fact 1: The show delivered as close to a professional experience as possible. There were 3 shows a day, twice a week, and 2 shows a day for the remaining week, which is similar to a pantomime contract.
- Fact 2: Many of the students involved were accepted into England’s leading stage schools during the rehearsals and performances of the shows.
- Fact 3: We sold out most of our shows in November. This is due to the high standard of performances we deliver every year.
