During A level results day we also caught up with some of our first-year students.
Sophie was almost speechless after opening her first year results. The 16-year-old was slightly stunned to find that she’d achieved A’s in Psychology and Biology, a B in Maths and a C in Chemistry: “I’m really happy!”
The former student of St Michael's Catholic Academy said that her experience at SRC Bede so far had been great, and that she’d found all of the teachers to be really supportive and helpful.
Despite barely finishing her first year, Sophie has already attended several medical school open days. So far she likes the look of studying Medicine at the University of Leeds best, and she’s well on her way with her excellent results.
