During A level results day we also caught up with some of our first-year students.
Anya, 17, was originally planning to drop Biology for her second year at SRC Bede, but changed her mind when she found out how well she’d done in it!
Achieving Distinction* in Health & Social Care, B in Psychology and C in Biology, Anya was “very surprised and happy”.
A former student of Thornaby Academy, she’s been really enjoying studying Psychology at SRC Bede, and she now plans to further study the subject at university in the future.
When asked about her time at Bede so far, Anya said: “It’s a lovely environment – the teachers are all really supportive and there’s always someone there to talk to.”
