It was a double Distinction star for Level 3 Sport and Exercise Science student Megan today as she picked up her vocational results from SRC Bede Sixth Form.

The course was just the thing to top up her A levels completed last year and help her on her way to a future career in sports therapy.

The 19-year-old from Stockton said: “I was unsure what I wanted to do previously and hadn’t chosen sport.”

But with her ambitions shifting towards the idea of setting up her own sports therapy clinic, she decided remaining at SRC Bede for an additional year to complete the full-time course would help set her in the right direction.

Now Megan is delighted to have secured a place to study Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation at Teesside University, she said: “I feel good and now I am ready to start university.”
