Course at SRC Bede: NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sport, Exercise & Fitness, and then Level 3 Diploma in Public Services (and DofE Silver Award)

Previous school: Rye Hills Academy

Now: Training to be a Communications Systems Operator, Royal Signals

Currently training to be a Communications Systems Operator with the Royal Signals, former SRC Bede Sixth Form student, Jordan, has worked hard to get to where he is now. Jordan only had great things to say about his time at SRC Bede, saying that it was “the best learning establishment I’ve experienced, and support for students is outstanding. Bede is small, so teachers get to know you really well”.
"Support for students is outstanding"

Speaking of the course, Jordan said that the work is well-structured, blending practice and theory, making it directly applicable to the next part of his training and career. He had high praise for the teachers, saying that they are always constructive with their feedback: "All they ask is that you apply yourself and try your best".

He added that students benefit a lot from the college’s “great connections and good opportunities”, allowing them to learn from many people who have real-life experience, like personal trainers, the Royal Marines, and Cleveland Police. There is also ample opportunity to take part in volunteering and raising money for charity

Jordan said there was “never a dull moment on the course”, and that anyone considering studying at SRC Bede Sixth Form should “Go for it!”
