SRC Bede Sixth FormSRC Bede Sixth Form is opening its doors to the community as it offers new evening courses to help locals brush up on their skills or learn something new.

The college, based on Marsh House Avenue, Billingham, is launching their new community education and leisure programme to encourage people to enhance their skills and enjoy their time learning.

Courses on offer include an Introduction to Astronomy, Knitting for Beginners and Digital Photography amongst others. The courses will last for 5 weeks and be taught on a Monday or a Wednesday.

Deputy Director of SRC Bede Sixth Form, Andrew Panayi, said: “The courses are a great way to get more information on a hobby, pick up some new skills for a holiday or simply engage in something that you have always wanted to.”

“We want to get the people of Billingham through our doors to enjoy the great facilities we have and this is a fantastic opportunity to brush up on your existing skills or add something new to your skillset in a supportive and friendly environment.”
