Stockton Riverside College works in partnership with schools to offer GCSE equivalent courses to students between the ages of 14 and 16. These courses are for students who like to learn new skills in a practical setting.
In a relaxed and informal environment, students are taught by tutors with direct industry knowledge, in state of the art classrooms and workshops. Students quickly learn the skills that will put them ahead when it comes to applying for a full-time course or apprenticeship in their chosen specialist area.
Students have the opportunity to look at three different locations, The Skills Academy, SRC Bede Sixth Form or Stockton Riverside College, for their study, depending on their ability level and reasons for coming to the college.
Alongside full-time study, the college can also tailor bespoke programmes to suit the requirements of schools and students.
