Why would I join this course?
If you have been unemployed for 6 – 12 months and in receipt of JSA this course will give you a good idea about what it is like working in the Bricklaying Industry.
What would I be doing?
- You will be given an introduction to the skills and techniques required for working in all areas of the Bricklaying Industry
- You will be given practical experience of bricklaying
- You will complete a NOCN unit in ‘the use of tools and equipment for bricklaying’
- You will be given a good introduction to the career opportunities available, together with the Full and Part Time courses available to become qualified in your chosen area
How long does it take?
15 hours a week for 2 weeks
