Why would I join this course?

If you have been unemployed for 6 – 12 months and in receipt of JSA this course will give you a good idea about what it is like working in the Bricklaying Industry.

What would I be doing?

You will be given an introduction to the skills and techniques required for working in all areas of the Bricklaying Industry
You will be given practical experience of bricklaying
You will complete a NOCN unit in ‘the use of tools and equipment for bricklaying’
You will be given a good introduction to the career opportunities available, together with the Full and Part Time courses available to become qualified in your chosen area

How long does it take?

15 hours a week for 2 weeks

I'm not working - I can't afford to go to college.
