Introduction to 16+ Teaching
Why would I join this course?
This course is the first step for those who wish to pursue a career teaching in further education. If you have no previous experience in teaching, this will provide the basic skills required to undertake a 7303 teaching qualification.
What would I be doing?
The course will focus on study and research skills, how to write assignments, presentation skills and confidence building
Will this programme provide me with a qualification?
On successful completion of the course, you will achieve a Stockton Riverside College certificate which provides entry to the 7303 teaching course
What are the added benefits?
It provides all the necessary skills and confidence building for those who want to teach but have no experience
How long does it take?
- 5 weeks
- 3 hours per week
- Tuesday evening 6.00-9.00pm OR
- Monday 10.00am-1.00pm
- (Breckon Hill Community Centre)
