Student Support

Learning Support - For Full and Part Time Students

If you are a full time student and have, or think you may have a learning difficulty, we may be able to offer you Learning Support. We support students who have dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia as well as other learning difficulties. We can help you improve your literacy and numeracy skills and any other difficulties you may be having.

If you are returning to college part time and feel that you need to improve your literacy and numeracy skills to help with your coursework, we may be able to offer you support. If you have, or think you may have, a learning difficulty such as dyslexia, we can also offer you support within your course.

Disability Support

Stockton Riverside College's Learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LLDD) team provides a confident learning environment for all our learners. The team consists of carers, learning support assistants, teaching assistants and dedicated ILT support to enhance the learning experience of our learners.

In line with SENDA the college will work towards offering specialist support to cater for learners with learning difficulties or disabilities. A full list of our services and facilities are given in our Disability Statement available from Information and Guidance.
