This programme is aimed at the level of personnel assistant, personnel administrator or personnel officer whose role is to provide support for key aspects of the personnel function or someone new aspiring to a career in personnel.

The CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice is intended to develop the skills and underpinning knowledge needed in personnel work; as an introduction to the work of the personnel department; to develop an awareness of the context of the personnel function and to provide a platform for studies in personnel.

Duration:
36 weeks, 4 hrs per week (plus 20 hrs residential study)

Entry Requirements:
Interview with course leader

Qualification:
CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice, to include associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

Progression:
CIPD Practitioner Level Standards in Leadership and Management
