CACHE NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools

This programme provides a vocational qualification for those who work or wish to work in schools supporting teaching and learning. The programme provides the values and principles that underpin the National Occupational Standards.

Once achieved, the qualification allows progression to related level 4 qualifications and continuing professional development qualifications at level 3. This programme allows learners to undertake roles as teaching assistants, support workers, special needs teaching assistants and cover supervisors.

Learners must complete 6 mandatory and 4 optional units to achieve the qualification.

The mandatory units are:


Placement:
Learners must be employed or in a practical placement for the whole period of the qualification.


Duration:
30 weeks, 3 hours per week

Day/Time:
Tuesday 6.00pm-9.00pm
(15.09.09 – 17.05.10)

Inclusive Fee:
£465.00

Entry Requirements:
Learners must be at least 16 years of age and have already achieved a merit or distinction grade in a relevant level 2 certificate or diploma OR have already achieved a pass on a relevant level 2 NVQ course and be recommended for progression by your L2 tutor.
