This qualification is for learners who wish to work in a supervised role, with children aged 0 - 16 years, in settings or services whose main purpose is children’s care, learning and development. It provides the values and principles that underpin the National Occupation Standards in Children’s Care Learning and Development at Level 2.
The technical certificate is a knowledge based qualification, learners will be required to study and complete assessment for four units:

Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements, although a minimum standard of literacy and numeracy is needed.
