This programme is aimed at learners looking to enter the contact centre industry either for the first time or following a break in employment within the sector.

The course is most suited to:

Unemployed
Returning to work

Upon successful completion of this qualification the course leads to a nationally recognised City & Guilds qualification: Introduction to Contact Centre Industry Level 1.

Units studied include:

Understanding how the different types of contact centre work and what it is they do
Communication skills in order to make and receive successful calls with customers
Customer Service and how to listen and respond to customers in the most appropriate way
Visits to employers to develop a better understanding of the industry
Developing good interview techniques and creating a professional CV
Guidance and support in preparation for work.
