This course provides progression from the level 2 programme. The aim of the course is to provide a further knowledge and understanding of the following:

Health & Safety
Electrical Practices for the Installation
Testing & Commissioning
Fault Diagnosis & Rectification Techniques

The course consists of the following modules:
1. Application of Health & Safety Electrical Principles
2. Installation (Buildings & Structures) Inspection, Testing & Commissioning
3. Installation (Buildings & Structures) Fault Diagnosis & Rectification

The course can also form part of an NVQ 2 or 3 in electrical installation for students who are released by employers.

Assessment:
1 Online test, 2 Written assessments, 2 Practicals

Duration:
36 weeks, 6 hours per week

Mon & Tue 6.00pm-9.00pm (14.09.09 – 28.06.10)
or Wed 9.00pm – 5.00pm (22.09.09 – 29.06.10)
or Thur 9.00am-5.00pm (23.09.09 – 30.06.10)
