The course includes:

Use of 3D surface modelling system variables
Creation of work planes within 3D space
Definition & use of co-ordinate points within 3D space
Application of appropriate commands to construct 3D drawings
Application of commands to modify complex 3D models
Use of commands to perform 3D operations on existing models
Application of commands to manipulate 3D models
Use of commands to view 3D models in varying display formats
Printing & exporting of 3D models
Practical drawing assignments

Course is 100% individual hands-on practical experience using up-to-date CAD software.

NOTE: All sessions are delivered on a flexible basis, i.e. all courses are run within each session. Delivery includes the use of tutorial books, individual tasks, and group and individual tutorials.

City & Guilds 2D Computer Aided Drawing Level 2 or evidence or equivalent experience

City & Guilds CAD Level 3
