Course Information
The programme aims to help lecturers, mentors, teaching assistants and other workers in education develop their knowledge of educational practice and reflect on strategies for developing their professional practice.
Course structure
The degree consists of five Level 2 core modules and one option module, giving a total of 120 credits for the level.
APL and APEL will be considered via individual application.

Entry Requirements
Applicants starting at Level 2 will already be possession of 120 credits at Level 1 in an appropriate educational area and will follow a two-year programme. As a minimum you will spend five hours a week in teaching practice to support the process of our learning and development and the completion of the module assessment tasks.
Progression Route
Progression to the final year Level 3 of study at Teesside University, which could then lead onto the postgraduate master’s Level 4 course in education.
