Course Information

For people working with clients within the social care sector, education or health care who are required to develop individualised plans to meet client needs.

The course will enable participants to:

explore the principles of person centred planning and the skills and approaches required for working within a person-centred framework
work in partnership with individuals, families, carers and groups to promote person-centred planning
consider and reflect upon work related issues and situations to enhance their knowledge and skills

On successful completion of this unit you will gain a University Certificate in Continuing Education.

How you are assessed

Participants will complete a 3000 word assignment and participate in a group presentation. Both forms of assessment are summative.

Entry Requirements

Currently working in the social care sector, education or healthcare.

A minimum level 3 qualification in a related subject area.

All applicants will be interviewed.
