A practical programme of Construction Training combined with an external assessment. This award is the first stage of a range of construction qualifications linked to the NVQ framework and apprenticeship programme.

Wood Occupations
A practical programme of activity with external assessment of joinery related activity. This award is directly related to NVQ Level 2 Wood Occupations and is the technical certificate within a foundation apprenticeship programme.

• Store materials and equipment
• Erect and dismantle basic working platforms
• Work efficiently
• First fixing before plasterwork
• Second fixing
• Carcassing for floors and roofs

Advanced Construction Diploma - Wood Occupations
An advanced construction course that will enable you to acquire knowledge and understanding that will help you to gain employment in the construction industry.

Intermediate Construction Award or Diploma or NVQ level 2

• Establishing the operational area
• Progressing operations
• Organising resources
• Install first and second fix
• Erect carcassing
• Produce timber products
