Our award-winning Prince’s Trust ‘Team’ programme offers young people the opportunity to develop their personal skills and experience working as part of a team through challenges and projects within their local community, whilst gaining nationally recognised qualifications.

Encompassing outdoor activities, community projects and a work placement, this fast-paced and challenging course really is a chance to enhance your life prospects while meeting new people and having lots of fun.

The action-packed programme runs for 12 weeks, including a 5-day residential, and aims to build up confidence, giving you the support and motivation to progress onto further education or employment.

The Team programme is free and you can claim EMA or existing benefits if eligible. Bus fares will also be re-imbursed upon the receipt of valid bus tickets.

This full-time personal development course will help you gain:
• Practical skills that will help you in employment
   and in life
• Belief in what you can achieve
• Nationally recognised qualifications
• Career Advice and experiences to enhance
   your CV

Entry Requirements:
There are no entry requirements and the course is free.

Location:
The Team programme runs three times a year from each of the following five outreach locations: Stockton, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Peterlee and Bishop Auckland

You will:
• Gain nationally recognised qualifications
• Be given help with your CV and job search skills
• Meet new friends and have fun
• Make a difference in the community

You will study:
• Planning for progression - Community project
• Work based experience
• Career planning and making applications
• Supporting others

There will be the opportunity to gain other certificates during the course
• Wider key skills in Working with Others, Problem Solving and Improving Own Learning at Level 1, 2 or 3.

Length of course: 12 weeks
